An excellent slow-dissolving tablet that is made from stabilised chlorine granules. These tablets also include an algaecide in the form of copper sulphate, and a flocculant - excellent for dealing with algae in a pool, and keeping your filter working well.
These tablets contain cyanuric compounds and are acidic - so please adjust the pH, calcium hardness and total alkalinity levels of your pool water when using these. In pools where these are used regularly you need to watch the build-up of cyanurates - control these levels by adding fresh water after a backwash, and monitor them regularly with test strips or tablets.
